DR. FRANK LISTA: Well eyelids are probably the most technical challenging operation that we do. To make an eyelid look right and not distort the eyelid is a really hard operation. It takes a lot of conversation with the surgeon to make sure that the patient knows exactly what they are going to get before they have an eyelid surgery. There has been lots of advances in eyelid surgery in terms of not removing as much skin. If you try and take away all the wrinkles you might be taking away all the expression and there are people that have wrinkles but look really weird. You know that is the balance. The balance is to make it look natural and the key is not to over do it.
