Forehead Lift

An endoscopic forehead lift can improve the appearance of the eyes by lifting the brow to a more youthful position. Because the procedure eliminates the need for incisions in the eyelid, it is growing in popularity among cosmetic surgery patients.

DR. FRANK LISTA: Forehead lift is an operation that is really growing in popularity because it is taking over from a lot of upper lib lepthroplasti’s. You know in the past if you had looseness of your upper eyelid skin the answer was to go in and remove that skin. The problem is it didn’t really fix the issue so what we are doing now is instead of putting a scar on the eyelid where you can see it, we are lifting the eyebrow back up to where it used to be and the way we do that is endosmotically. We use and endoscopes, a little tiny 4 mm scope that goes in behind the hairline so the patient has no scar. It’s in the hair, it is invisible and we are able to fix the appearance of the eye without putting any scars around the eye. That’s a really exciting advance in plastic surgery.
