Dr. Jamil Ahmad

Dr. Ahmad's prestigious education in cosmetic surgery took place at the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland and the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas. Having studied under world-famous cosmetic surgeons, Dr. Ahmad now provides state-of-the-art care to patients at the Plastic Surgery Clinic in Mississauga, Ontario.

DR. JAMIL AHMAD: I grew up in Mississauga and, uh, spent a significant proportion, uh, of my early years in the Toronto area. I had a very unique opportunity to go to Europe and study at the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland, and after that, uh, I got a position to do my plastic surgery training at the world renowned department of plastic surgery at the University of Texas, Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas. I was exposed to all aspects of plastic surgery, in particular, worked with a lot of world famous aesthetic or cosmetic plastic surgeons in Dallas learning the latest techniques. I’ve known Dr. Lista and, uh, worked with the plastic surgery clinic for almost 10 years now. He’s one of my first mentors as a plastic surgeon and become a very close friend. So it was very natural to come back here and work at The Plastic Surgery Clinic. We provide state-of-the-art care for our patients. We try to help our patients achieve their goals, and we also want to do that using the latest techniques, and also the safest techniques for our patients. Coming back to The Plastic Surgery Clinic and to Mississauga is coming home for me.
